KPC #379 Adopts Tampa Street
The KPC #379 Family recently signed on to help keep the city of Tampa clean. They have adopted a stretch of road near the home parish that all of the units periodically join in to help clean. They do this by picking up trash on a six block stretch. The Knights, Ladies and Juniors are involved in the effort. After their first effort, a signed was placed on the road to indicate their effort and commitment.

2015 KPCLA Scholarships Awarded
On Sunday, July 19, 2015 the KPCLA St. Peter Claver Tampa Court #379 held their annual scholarship presentation. This year’s recipient of the Wilbert Davis Scholarship was Donovan Geter. The recipient of the Mother Henriette DeLille Scholarship was Meng Fei Shen, who was not able to be present. Presenting the awards on behalf of Court #379 and the Scholarship Committee were Grand Lady Loette Cupid (left front) and Scholarship Chair Lady Giselle Johnson (right front), pictured along with Donvan (center), his mother (rear left) grandmother (second from left), and grandfather (rear right). The scholarship was presented at the end of the Mass.
KPCLA Court #379 annually offers two academic scholarships to graduating seniors in the Tampa Bay area. Many thanks to all those schools, counselors, and parents who assisted in getting the scholarship information circulated and into the hands of student. We received many applications from very worthy students!
